Agnitron Successfully Upgrades First Aixtron HVPE Control System at KTH

Agnitron successfully upgraded a legacy Aixtron HVPE reactor at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. Within 12 working days, our team managed to upgrade the programmable logic controller (PLC), control software, heater power supplies, MFCs, PCs and PID devices. The original equipment was designed with all analog protocols. All gas flow and pressure devices were upgraded with the newest Brooks Instruments DeviceNet MFCs and pressure controllers.

The Imperium platform is a Windows 10 based package and is used for controlling MOCVD and other semiconductor process equipment.
