National Laboratory Selects Agnitron for the Control System Upgrade on Veeco D125

Agnitron successfully upgraded a legacy Veeco D125 with a new Imperium-MOCVD™ Control Software and Beckhoff Automation programmable logic controller (PLC) at a US National Laboratory. The original Epiview software and PLC was constantly failing due to the age and absence of support. The customer could not afford the increasing downtime and hired Agnitron to provide an upgrade of the original Allen Bradley PLC.

The Imperium platform is a Windows 10 based package and is used for controlling MOCVD and other semiconductor process equipment. Imperium-MOCVD™ is a direct Control Software and Automation replacement for Emcore, Veeco and Thomas Swan and other MOCVD systems and it offers the latest in control technology; setting a new bar for MOCVD control flexibility.
