Agnitron Technology Delivers Impactful Results at WOCSEMMAD and Compound Semiconductor Week 2025

Chanhassen, MN – June 2025 – Agnitron Technology, a leading innovator in advanced materials and MOCVD equipment solutions, is proud to announce its successful presentations of state-of-the-art research at two prominent industry events: the Workshop on Compound Semiconductor Materials and Devices (WOCSEMMAD 2025) in Fort Myers, Florida and Compound Semiconductor Week (CSW 2025) in Banff, Canada.

Will Brand, Agnitron’s MN-based process engineer, played a pivotal role in showcasing the company’s latest advancements. At WOCSEMMAD, Mr. Brand delivered an insightful talk titled, “Innovative Showerhead for Uniform MOCVD Growth of beta-Ga2O3 on 4” substrates.” This presentation highlighted Agnitron’s successful transition to 4” substrates, further demonstrating the company’s commitment to advancing hardware and process engineering to expand customer capabilities. As ultra-wide bandgap materials continue to progress, Agnitron’s MN-based group remains at the forefront of these developments. Mr. Brand’s presentation, which clearly articulated how hardware innovations led to groundbreaking results, was very well received.

A few months later, Mr. Brand presented again at CSW 2025 with a poster titled, “MOCVD Growth and Characterization of Ferroelectric ScAlN and Related Alloys.” This work further elaborated on Agnitron’s cutting-edge growth and hardware prowess, revealing the critical importance of hardware advancements for ferroelectric materials growth. Agnitron has achieved smooth, high-quality 45% scandium in ScAlN, a significant MOCVD achievement. This material system promises substantial future dividends.
