Agnitron Technologies Expands Global Reach with 2025 Shipments to Taiwan and Germany

Agnitron Technologies, a leading innovator in advanced Metal Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition (MOCVD) systems and semiconductor solutions, continues to strengthen its global presence with major international shipments in 2025.

Recognized as a world leader in MOCVD technology for both wide bandgap (WBG) and ultra-wide bandgap (UWBG) semiconductor research, Agnitron supports top-tier R&D institutes, universities, and high-capacity production facilities. Its latest milestones include the shipment of an advanced dual-use UWBG MOCVD system to a premier research institute in Taiwan, where it will be used to explore Ga₂O₃ material science and device development. A second shipment—another dual-use MOCVD tool—is scheduled for delivery next month to a prominent German institution focused on WBG materials research, including ferroelectric applications.

These strategic deployments underscore Agnitron’s growing role as a global enabler of next-generation semiconductor research and manufacturing.

Agnitron’s Agilis™ MOCVD platform is known for its compact footprint, modular flexibility, and industry-leading material quality. The company offers highly customizable systems and advanced process control software tailored for a broad spectrum of compound semiconductors, including GaN, Ga₂O₃, SiC, AlN, AlGaN, and InGaN. Agnitron also supports growth of III-V As/P alloys, ZnO, MgZnO, and 2D materials such as TMDs (e.g., MoS₂, MoSe₂, WS₂, WSe₂).

Highlights of Recent Shipments:

  • Taiwan: The system delivered will support cutting-edge research and development in Taiwan’s dynamic semiconductor ecosystem. It will facilitate the growth and integration of next-generation Ga2O3 and GaN materials for high-performance electronics and optoelectronics.
  • Germany: The upcoming shipment will empower a leading European institution to advance WBG semiconductor growth, targeting innovations in ferroelectrics, RF devices, and quantum technologies utilizing ScAlN, GaN, and other wide bandgap materials.

“We are incredibly proud to announce these key international shipments,” said Andrei Osinsky, President and CEO of Agnitron Technologies. “They reflect the strong global demand for Agnitron’s high-performance MOCVD systems and our ongoing commitment to advancing innovation in semiconductor technology. We look forward to the scientific breakthroughs and real-world applications that will result from these collaborations.”

Agnitron’s full suite of offerings includes its proprietary Imperium™ Control Software and Automation, providing advanced system control and robust data logging, and AgniTemp™ Multiwavelength Pyrometer and Reflectometer tools for precise in-situ monitoring.
